In the Old Testament, to be separated from Israel was the same thing as being separated from God. That meant the Gentiles ( non-Jews) were strangers from the covenants of promise. They were strangers without a share. They were shut out from fellowship & intimacy with God, therefore, they had no hope!
But Jesus changed all of that!
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation…
“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
As we fast and pray, let us come boldly, drawing closer and closer to the heart of God each day that we may know more about His and that he may get more of ours!
Thank Him today that He provided a way for you to be included in His plan. Thank Him that you have the privilege of knowing Him as your God and as your Father! What a privilege it is to be sins and daughters of God!
