Loving God. Loving People.

Fast 2018: Day One

This week, I stood on top of this mountain at an elevation of approximately 8,000 feet. At this altitude, I could see for miles and miles. The beauty and majesty of Gods creation is truly breath-taking and can be really overwhelming and if I’m not careful I can be overtaken by thoughts of how small and insignificant I am in the grand scheme of God’s creative plan.

What I realize is significance isn’t found in size or stature. Significance is found in identity.

As members of the human race, our stature may be small in comparison to mountains, but our significance, our identity is huge!

One of the most significant things we can pray and pursue during this time of fasting is to solidify just how significant we are in Christ! To pray for peace and rest about your identity!

Text: Ephesians 1:4-6

“He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:4-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
